Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cytology or related science.
• Three to five years progressively responsible laboratory experience or two to four years supervisory experience in a clinical cytology/cytopathology laboratory.
• Registered as a Technologist with ASCP, NCA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Cytology/Cytopathology lab staff and daily activities.
• Develop and monitor budgets and quality assurance measures for the section.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, regulatory laws and DMC policies.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and staff training.
