Job summary

Qualifications

• Data entry background required or preferred.
• Must understand and apply compliance policies related to test ordering.
• Good organization skills and ability to learn quickly in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle Cytology Accessioning duties including data entry into LIS and handling specimens.
• Presort, pickup and delivery of processed specimens as needed.
• Identify and resolve issues with specimen types or missing information and assign TIQ.
• Learn and apply test ordering compliance policies; research information as needed.
• Meet production and accuracy standards within 6 months.
• Maintain accurate documentation and punctual attendance; may cross-train on additional Cytology accessioning tasks.
