Job summary

The role requires 2-3 years of FISH and Cytogenetics experience, a High School/GED, or a Bachelor’s in Cytogenetics or related sciences; CG (ASCP) certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in Cytogenetics or related sciences preferred

Responsibilities

• The Cytogenetics Technologist performs routine and specialized activities related to the operation of the Cytogenetics laboratory including microscope analysis, tissue culture, cell harvesting, and karyotyping on a variety of tissue specimens.
