This role emphasizes leadership, quality, and adherence to regulatory standards. The successful candidate will have cytogenetics experience, a NYS CLT license, and a Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Cytogenetics experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field.
• New York State license as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• 4 years of experience or 2 years of experience with a Master's degree per NYS supervisory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Cytogenetics laboratory, including administrative, personnel and technical duties.
• Lead a team of Cytogenetics Technologists and serve as a resource to the laboratory leadership team.
• Act as front line liaison between laboratory staff and physicians; participate in on-call coverage.
