Job summary

NeoGenomics Laboratories is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CG ASCP Required) for our Cytogenetics Dry Lab to continue learning and grow with the company. Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00am-5:30pm, subject to change based on business needs.

The role focuses on complex procedures and accurate specimen processing within a leading cancer reference laboratory. The candidate will work under supervision, perform analyses, review results, and ensure QC and proficiency testing compliance,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or in chemical/physical/biological sciences with lab experience.
ASCP certification for the assigned specialty when available.
Current state license requirements per state (as applicable).
1+ years of high-complexity laboratory testing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs complex laboratory procedures in Cytogenetics Dry Lab under supervision.
Maintains records ensuring proficiency testing samples are tested like patient specimens.
Analyzes specimens using approved testing procedures.
Reviews and reports test results including STATS or Critical results to the physician per SOP.
Performs and documents quality control on reagents, equipment, and assays; addresses QC issues with supervisor.
