Job summary

NAVBASE Point Loma is seeking a Child and Youth Program Custodian to perform semiskilled labor and cleaning across CYP facilities, including CDCs, SACs, Youth Programs, CDH offices, and lending libraries. The role involves maintaining clean, safe environments and supporting program operations for children and youth across multiple locations.

Candidates should know cleaning agents, be able to use and maintain cleaning equipment, lift objects over 50 lbs, and communicate effectively in English

Qualifications

• Knowledge of a variety of chemical and cleaning agents.
• Ability to use a variety of household and industrial cleaning equipment.
• Ability to operate, clean, and make adjustments to powered cleaning equipment.
• Physical ability to move furniture, lift and move objects over 50 lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, and possess strong interpersonal communication skill.
