Job summary

Commander, Navy Installations Command is seeking a Child and Youth Program Custodian to perform semiskilled labor and cleaning tasks across CYP facilities, including CDCs, SAC programs, Youth Programs, and CDH offices.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, bathrooms, windows; operating cleaning equipment; maintaining supplies; and following safety rules. Must have High School Diploma; pay range $18.82–$21.95/hr; other security clearance; applications close 2026-09-30.

Qualifications

• Must provide HS diploma, GED, or transcripts when applying.
• Experience in custodial or cleaning work preferred.
• Ability to follow cleaning specifications and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial and housekeeping tasks per established specs.
• Clean floors, bathrooms, kitchens, windows and surfaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment and maintain supplies.
• Report leaks, hazards and equipment issues to supervisor.
• Occasionally move furniture and set up for events.
