Superior Forge & Steel seeks a Cylindrical Grinder Operator in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You will set up and operate a grinder, inspect rolls to blueprints, and ensure tolerances are met while maintaining production records.

Strong reading of blueprints, micrometers, dial indicators, and math skills are essential. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), paid holidays, PTO, and a safety-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous machining experience required.
• Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery required.
• Must be able to read/interpret blueprints.
• Proficient in micrometers, dial indicators, etc.
• Good math skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Verifiable employment history.

Responsibilities

Job Summary: Cylindrical Grinder Operator

The Grinder Operator is a member of our Machining Department responsible for operating a grinding machine to finish our forged rolls to customer specifications. Based on experience, earn up to $30+ per hour for a starting wage!! $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS (paid in increments throughout the first year of continued employment). AND the opportunity earn even more money per hour with our Production Incentive Bonus Program!

• Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs occasionally throughout shift
