Job summary

Superior Forge & Steel Corporation seeks a Cylindrical Grinder Operator to join our Machining Department. Operate a grinding machine to finish forged rolls to customer specs, with starting pay up to $30+ per hour and a $1,000 sign-on bonus paid over the first year. Production incentives may increase earnings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous machining experience required.
• Must read/interpret blueprints.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and vibration.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operation of grinder.
• Reviewing and interpreting blueprints.
• Grinding rolls to blueprint specifications.
• Preventative maintenance.
• Keep complete and accurate production records.
• Verify work assignments.
• Maintain production requirements and specified tolerances.
• Perform other department duties, as assigned.

The Grinder Operator is a member of our Machining Department responsible for operating a grinding machine to finish our forged rolls to customer specifications. Based on experience, earn up to $30+ per hour for a starting wage!! $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS(paid in increments throughout the first year of continued employment). AND the opportunity earn even more money per hour with our Production Incentive Bonus Program!

Qualifications:

• Previousmachining experiencerequired
• Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery required
• Must be able to read/interpret blueprints
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Must be able to pass criminal background check,drug screen and physical.
