Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking a Cylinder Technician II in Morristown, TN for day shift with overtime as needed. You will inspect, repair, maintain, and manage printing cylinders, applying cylinder technology and product history to determine required polishing, re-chroming, or re-engraving work.

You will operate a chrome-plating machine and lathe, follow GMP and safety policies, maintain logs, and coordinate with press teams to ensure cylinders meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-paced manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to maintain logs and records accurately and on time.
• Forklift certification and ability to operate forklift safely.
• Knowledge of cylinder history and repair processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain printing cylinders and related components.
• Polish, re-chrome, and re-engrave cylinders as needed.
• Operate chrome-plating machine and lathe for corrective actions.
• Work with press crews to identify and resolve cylinder-related issues.
• Maintain cylinder history records and inventory in the database.
