Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking a Cylinder Technician II in Morristown, TN to support printing operations by inspecting, repairing, and maintaining cylinders, coordinating with press teams, and ensuring cylinders are prepared for production.

The role requires following safety policies, keeping accurate logs, and operating equipment such as chrome-plating machines and lathes. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Certified Cylinder Technician I preferred
• Forklift certification required
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Maintain logs and records accurately

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain cylinders, including polishing, re-chroming and re-engraving as needed.
• Work with press teams to troubleshoot cylinder-related issues and support production.
• Operate chrome-plating machine and lathe for cylinder work.
• Coordinate with Graphics and Press teams to ensure cylinders are prepared for production.
• Maintain cylinder history records and logs; perform pump maintenance on presses.
