Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to lift 50-150 lbs and perform repetitive manual tasks.
• Reliable attendance and a safety-first mindset.
• Comfort with standing, walking, and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to use a handheld scanner after training.

Responsibilities

• Sort incoming/outgoing cylinders by gas type, size, valve type, and ownership.
• Visually inspect cylinders for damage, leaks, labels, and hydrostatic test dates; remove out-of-spec cylinders from service.
• Verify and match cylinder markings, tags, and barcodes; record movements in the tracking system.
• Secure cylinders properly with caps, chains, and straps to prevent tipping or rolling.
• Keep the cylinder yard, dock, and sorting areas clean, organized, and safe; segregate by hazard class.
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and inventory discrepancies to the supervisor; assist with general production tasks.
