Maine Oxy is seeking a Cylinder Maintenance Technician to join our production team in Auburn, ME. You will re-qualify and test industrial and specialty gas cylinders, performing UE, visual inspections, and hydrostatic testing, while maintaining equipment and ensuring safe operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASNT SNT-TC-1A UE Examiner Certification (Level I/II) required; eligible applicants will be supported to earn.
• Ability to understand, work with, and repair mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform cylinder re-qualification testing: UE, visual, hydrostatic per regs/procedures.
• Complete daily tasks accurately and on schedule per procedures.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on equipment; identify repairs needed.
• Inspect cylinders and remove or scrap defective ones.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area; support team as needed.
