Arc3 Gases, Inc. in East Liverpool, OH is seeking a Distribution Assistant to sort pallets, handle cylinders, and support the branch, gas plant, store and warehouse. You may also act as a backup driver, ensuring efficient movement of cylinders and adherence to safety procedures.

The role requires forklift use, cylinder inspection, and coordination of filling operations. Ideal candidates are 21+ with a valid driver’s license and a willingness to obtain a Hazmat CDL endorsement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Driver's license required.
• Willingness to obtain CDL with Hazmat endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Sort cylinders and manage pallets using a forklift per OSHA rules.
• Roll cylinders from pallets to designated areas.
• Prepare empty cylinders for return to Gas Plant.
• Inspect cylinders, remove caps, and verify labeling.
• Connect manifold to cylinder valve and release pressure.
• Fill cylinders following safe procedures and monitor weights.
• Verify labels, replace outdated ones, and repaint as needed.
• Assist in filling with liquids/gases using scales.
• Serve as backup driver and pick up/return customer tanks.
• Respond to emergencies and deliver products.
• Stock dock with full cylinders and perform inventories.
• Complete paperwork on time and follow DOT/OSHA rules.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections.
• Support branch team and other duties.
