Job summary

Airgas in Stryker, OH is hiring a Cylinder Prep Tech to process and prepare gas cylinders for filling. You will sort cylinders by size and service, perform cleaning, labeling, painting, and coating, and support loading and unloading trucks with a focus on safety and quality.

The role requires basic math, ability to read safety procedures, and operation of forklifts. You will contribute to a clean yard and assist with maintenance of prep equipment while working on all shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures
• Ability to write reports in English
• Ability to operate forklifts and handle cylinders safely

Responsibilities

• Prepare gas cylinders for filling and production
• Inspect and organize cylinders by size and service
• Paint, label, and coat cylinders as required
• Move cylinders using forklift and handcart
• Load/unload trucks and shuttle deliveries
• Perform routine maintenance on prep equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized cylinder yard and safety compliance
