Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment in Signal Hill, CA, is seeking a Cylinder Processor for our 2nd shift. You will process medical and industrial gas cylinders, follow plant guidelines, and ensure quality through inspections.

High school diploma or GED is required; 1+ year in manufacturing is expected, with a mechanical mindset. You will lead, solve problems, and communicate effectively while operating forklifts and handling transfer orders. The role supports a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders following established plant guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct cylinder inspections to determine need for retesting or repairs through visual, physical, and odor tests before filling.
• Check cylinder quantities, styles, and products, fill as needed, and load/unload product from weekly shuttle truck.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and related equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork; enter quantities, styles and products into the computer to justify stock.
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation per company and governmental procedures; operate a forklift and other plant vehicles.

What you will enjoy doing*

• This role requires you to process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures
• You will conduct cylinder inspections to determine need for retesting or repairs through visual, physical, and odor tests before filling
• Check for cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill any necessary product. Load and unload product from weekly shuttle truck
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment
• Further, you will prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment and keys into the computer the quantities, styles and products filled in order to justify the stock inventory
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation as per company and Governmental procedures, and operate a forklift truck and other plant vehicles

What Makes You Great

• You have more than one (1+) year experience in plant or manufacturing environment
• A strong mechanical background is desired
• You must possess good leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills

Pay range: $21.36 - $26.36 hourly, based on experience
