Linde plc in Sparks, NV is seeking a front-line plant operator to process medical and industrial gas cylinders in accordance with established guidelines. The role requires attention to safety and quality during filling, inspection, and packing.

You will inspect cylinders visually for retesting needs, verify quantities and styles, load and unload weekly shuttle deliveries, and operate scales and related equipment. A strong mechanical background and good communication are essential.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical background is preferred.
• Candidates should demonstrate leadership, problem solving, communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct cylinder inspections to determine need for retesting or repairs through visual, physical, and odor tests before filling.
• Check cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill any necessary product. Load and unload product from weekly shuttle truck.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment and log quantities, styles and products filled in the computer.
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation and operate a forklift truck and other plant vehicles.

What you will enjoy doing*

• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperworkfor shipment and keys into the computer the quantities, styles and productsfilled in order to justify the stock inventory
• You will complete and maintain qualitycontrol documentation as per company and Governmental procedures, and operatea forklift truck and other plant vehicles

Pay range: $22.00 - $27.00 hourly (depending on experience)
