Job summary

Linde plc in Houston is hiring for a first-shift role to process medical and industrial gas cylinders following established plant guidelines and procedures.

You will perform inspections for retesting or repairs using visual, physical, and odor tests, check quantities and styles, and load/unload per weekly shuttle. The job also involves operating scales, preparing transfer orders, and ensuring quality control documentation is up to date.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in a plant/manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical background preferred.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders following established plant guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct cylinder inspections for retesting or repairs via visual, physical, and odor tests.
• Check cylinder quantities, styles and products, and fill as needed; load/unload weekly shuttle.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and related equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and document quantities for stock inventory.
• Enter data into computer systems to justify the quantities, styles and products filled.
• Complete quality control documentation and operate forklift and other plant vehicles.

What you will enjoy doing*

• Thisrole requires you to process medical and industrial gas cylinders usingestablished plant guidelines and procedures
• You will conduct cylinderinspections to determine need for retesting or repairs through visual,physical, and odor tests before filling
• Check for cylinder quantities,styles and product, and fill any necessary product. Load and unload productfrom weekly shuttle truck
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales andassociated equipment
• Further, you will prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperworkfor shipment and keys into the computer the quantities, styles and productsfilled in order to justify the stock inventory
• Complete and maintain qualitycontrol documentation as per company and Governmental procedures, and operatea forklift truck and other plant vehicles

Pay Range: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience.
