Job summary

Airgas, Inc. in La Porte, TX is seeking a Production Associate - Loader/Sorter for 2nd shift to safely load, sort, and prepare cylinders for shipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain forklift operator's license.
• Regularly lift up to 60 pounds; move more with equipment.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship now or in future.
• Ability to read and understand documentation.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares outbound shipments for delivery trucks, verifying inventory and replacing straps.
• Coordinates gases and cylinder sizes onto pallets to minimize load size.
• Reads cylinder labels and color coding to ensure safe handling.
• Safely operates forklifts and pallet jacks in the warehouse.
