Core duties include inspecting cylinders, labeling, tracking, and keeping accurate records. A high school diploma and mechanical aptitude are required; SAP experience and OSHA knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Minimum of 1 year of related technical experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to perform basic math in all units of measure (whole numbers, fractions, decimals).
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP is preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of OSHA and Airgas safety programs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cylinders on/off trucks per regulations.
• Meet safety standards while handling cylinder gases.
• Inspect cylinders before filling and ensure safety benchmarks are met.
• Identify cylinder contents via labels and color-coding; maintain safety protocols.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain records of cylinder type and quantity during loading/unloading.
• Secure cylinders on/off pallets and ensure proper strapping.
• Inspect returned cylinders for defects and perform minor equipment maintenance.
• Move cylinders to designated areas using safe methods.
• Identify and segregate out-of-test or defective cylinders; maintain quality.
