Job summary

Mike’s Bikes in Sausalito, CA is hiring a Sales Advisor to connect with customers and share the love of cycling. You’ll match riders with the right gear, close sales, and use our CRM to build lasting relationships, while keeping a well-organized floor and supporting team operations.

We provide immersive onboarding, ongoing mentorship, and growth opportunities. Starting pay ranges from $19 to $26 per hour, plus a bi-weekly bonus and full-time benefits including medical, dental, PTO and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles.
• Working knowledge of bicycles and cycling gear.
• Confident in using POS systems, CRM tools, and basic office tech like Google Workspace.
• Competitive and motivated by clear goals.
• Comfortable chatting with customers in person and on the phone.

Responsibilities

• Ask the right questions and actively listen to match customers with their ideal riding experience.
• Confidently close sales by connecting customers to the right products for their goals and riding style.
• Use our CRM tool to build and manage ongoing customer relationships.
• Maintain an organized sales floor, manage inventory, and support team operations.
• Stay in touch with customers and build lasting relationships with top-notch service and follow-up.
