Job summary

High Liner Foods seeks an Inventory Control Cycle Counter for our Portsmouth, NH facility to join the Inventory Control Team. The role focuses on leading inventory cycle counts, reconciling variances, and keeping the warehouse audit-ready from an inventory control perspective.

Responsibilities include daily and weekly reporting, conducting cycle counts across locations, assisting with intra-department data requests, and supporting other Inventory Control functions in regional warehouses as

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED (some college coursework preferred).
• Ability to operate a Cherry picker and Scissor lift.
• Ability to count accurately with no margin for error.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Experience with an AS 400 based WMS or other WMS, including RF tools.
• Well-developed organization, problem solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify variances and discrepancies, follow through with proper reconciliation.
• Ensuring that the warehouse is audit-ready from an Inventory Control perspective.
• Partake in daily work order reconciliations along with trim traceability/consolidation tasks.
• Responsible to perform a minimum of at least 3 full Cycle Counts of the Portsmouth Facility annually.
• Complete daily reports (E1/BOSS variance, in-transit, etc.).
• Assist with counting inventory to resolve customer and freight claims.
• Assist Inventory Control team in other locations as needed.
