Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with cycle counting and inventory control in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems; Infor Syteline or M3 is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and perform inventory-control calculations accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and scheduled cycle counts of materials to meet accuracy goals.
• Verify and record inventory data in ERP; compare with physical counts.
• Research and reconcile discrepancies in ERP transactions and movements.
• Conduct root-cause analysis of count variances and document corrective actions.
• Communicate shortages and inventory concerns to Scheduling, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and others.
• Prepare inventory accuracy, variance, and root-cause reports; maintain records.
• Maintain item labeling and 5S standards in the workplace.
• Assist with physical inventories and audits; support process improvements.
• Operate forklift or powered industrial truck when required and authorized.
• Follow safety, quality, environmental, and workplace procedures.
