Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Cycle Counter for the 1st shift in Appleton, Wisconsin. You will maintain inventory accuracy by reconciling daily counts and entering data in the ERP system while collaborating with Material Coordinators and Manufacturing to resolve variances.

The ideal candidate will have prior inventory control and JDE experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a working knowledge of ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Previous inventory control and JDE experience required.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and proficient computer skills.
• Previous Materials department experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and review required daily count targets for responsible branch plant.
• Communicate with Material Coordinator and Manufacturing to create cutoff of inventory charges before count completion.
• Review all item locations and accurately count parts.
• Review and reconcile cycle count deviation report.
• Perform root cause analysis of variances.
• Use a computer to enter data for inventory of parts, navigate the ERP system, investigate inventory discrepancies, and use email.
• Support daily manufacturing discrepancy requests outside of required counts.
• Daily reconciliation of on hand balance for shortage report items with inventory variances.
• Work with area Material Coordinator, Manufacturing and Materials Supervisor on repetitive inventory discrepancies to correct BOM/handling errors.
• Support off-site inventory counts.
• Collaborate with Finance and external auditors as needed.
• Work with Material Supervisor on approval of counts and communicate inaccuracies to materials team.
