Job summary

NFI is seeking a Cycle Counter to perform continuous inventory cycle counts while on feet. The role involves researching discrepancies, adhering to procedures, and maintaining accurate data records. The position requires forklift experience and strong analytical skills.

Base hourly rate is $19.50 per hour with potential $1/hour shift premium. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work irregular hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar warehouse/inventory role.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Strong computer skills using MS Office.

Responsibilities

Overview

The Cycle Counter position is responsible for continuous cycle counts of inventory in a timely manner while on feet. The Cycle Counter researches for all data available to resolve discrepancies and adheres to proper inventory control and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventory count and compare results with system data
• Research discrepancies between physical and system count
• Communicate cycle count finding to those responsible for inventory
• Adheres to the cycle counting procedures and guidelines
• Maintains inventory count records and data files
• Investigates origin of discrepancies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• At least 2 year experience in similar position
• Must have experience operating a forklift
• Computer applications experience using MS Office
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to work independently
• High school education or equivalent
• Must be able to follow policies and safety procedures
• Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction
• Performs duties as instructed by management
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including weekends and potentially holidays as needed by the customer
• Must be able to stand and walk for continuous periods of time

We are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $19.50 $X/HOUR. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, geographic location, when determining a starting rate of pay. This position may also be eligible for an additional $1/HOUR based on shift work.
