Job summary

NFI in Texas is seeking a Cycle Counter to perform physical inventory counts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain inventory data records. This role requires standing and walking for extended periods and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

You will research data, communicate findings to inventory leads, and adhere to established cycle counting procedures. Experience with MS Office, strong communication, and excellent analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must have experience operating a forklift
• Computer applications experience using MS Office
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to work independently
• Must be able to follow policies and safety procedures
• Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including weekends and potentially holidays as needed by the customer
• Must be able to stand and walk for continuous periods of time

Job description

Overview

The Cycle Counter position is responsible for continuous cycle counts of inventory in a timely manner while on feet. The Cycle Counter researches for all data available to resolve discrepancies and adheres to proper inventory control and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventory count and compare results with system data


• Research discrepancies between physical and system count


• Communicate cycle count finding to those responsible for inventory


• Adheres to the cycle counting procedures and guidelines

• Must have experience operating a forklift


• Computer applications experience using MS Office
