Job summary

KC Fixture & Display, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate warehouse counts and perform daily cycle counts to ensure inventory records are current. You will use handheld scanners, reconcile discrepancies, and report variances to management.

The role requires forklift certification or the ability to obtain it, lifting up to 60 pounds, and the capacity to perform repetitive motions while meeting production standards and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control is preferred.
• Experience driving a forklift or willingness to become certified.
• Experience with WMS systems and scanning technology.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds and perform repetitive movements.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts with handheld scanner/RF unit.
• Perform inventory recounts as needed on variances.
• Research cycle count errors to determine cause.
• Communicate errors to management.
• Make corrections to inventory as approved by manager.
• Document any inventory variances, shortages or overages.
• Track and report on non-conforming products found via cycle count.
• Must be forklift certified or able to obtain certification.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping rules.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
• Meet production standards as determined by management.
• Work flexible scheduled hours as required.

Job description

This position is responsible for maintaining an accurate count of inventory levels in the warehouse. Conducts regular inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring that inventory records are accurate and up-to-date. Perform daily cycle counts as scheduled or requested.
