Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Fenestration Williamsport seeks an Inventory Accuracy Specialist to maintain inventory integrity through cycle counts and audits at the Williamsport facility.

Collaborate with Production Controls, Operations and Logistics to drive data reconciliations and root-cause analysis, ensuring stock accuracy and efficient material flow. This role partners with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and train staff on inventory procedures.

Qualifications

• One to two years of cycle counting, and warehouse or inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform formalized cycle count process and with the right number of counts completed in daily, weekly, and monthly cycles
• Initiate and follow approval process for inventory adjustments and scrap requests Analyze and complete timely reporting for cycle count and scrap request results
• Research to identify root cause of required adjustments
• Work cross-functionally to correct transactions and/or procedures
• Retrain functions based on results or findings from root cause analysis
