Job summary

Snap-On Tools is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to lead receiving, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy in the distribution center. You will drive processes, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement while partnering with Operations, Quality, Customer Service and Supply Chain.

The role requires 5+ years in warehouse/inventory control, 2+ years in supervision, and experience with ERP/WMS (SAP, Oracle, JDE, Manhattan). Strong Excel and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in warehouse, distribution, or inventory control.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Extensive experience managing cycle count programs and inventory audits.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations.
• Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, Manhattan).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proven experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the facility's cycle count program to achieve inventory accuracy targets.
• Execute daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cycle counting schedules based on ABC classifications.
• Supervise and coach Cycle Count associates.
• Monitor count completion, accuracy, and productivity metrics.
• Review variances and ensure timely adjustments; conduct recounts as needed.
• Lead annual physical inventory preparation and execution.
• Develop inventory accuracy dashboards and KPI reporting.
