Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Technical Program Manager for a contractual opportunity in the Dearborn, MI area. The role will lead and coordinate critical cybersecurity tooling and technology initiatives within a complex enterprise environment, driving Agile delivery and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years IT experience, 3+ years PM experience, and strong skills in Jira, ServiceNow, Archer, ALM, and X-Ray, with a focus on SDLC and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• :Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• :6+ years of IT experience.
• 3+ years of Program or Project Management experience.
• Strong experience managing technical projects and cross-functional teams.
• Experience facilitating Agile delivery and Scrum ceremonies.
• Proficiency with Jira, Project/Program Management methodologies, Cybersecurity projects and initiatives, Application Testing, SDLC processes.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables for enterprise technology initiatives.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Establish and evolve Agile delivery processes as team structures and business needs change.
• Partner with engineering, cybersecurity, compliance, risk, data analytics, and business teams to deliver technology solutions.
• Build, maintain, and report project metrics using Jira and related tools, including velocity, throughput, capacity, and delivery risk.
• Monitor team health metrics such as cycle time, sprint predictability, defect escape rates, and overall delivery effectiveness.
• Produce executive-level status reports highlighting progress, risks, dependencies, scope changes, and escalations.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and remove impediments impacting delivery.
• Facilitate coordination across development, testing, QA, and UAT teams throughout the SDLC.
• Ensure requirements are clearly defined, documented, and aligned to stakeholder needs.
• Manage product and program roadmaps, translating strategic objectives into actionable plans.
• Support vendor coordination and integration activities as required.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Agile, Lean, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
