Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans, define project scope, goals and deliverables for technology application development and enterprise implementation.
  • Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement by collaborating with IT teams, technology vendors, etc.
  • Facilitate development effort by creating and monitoring an efficient process between internal teams and external providers.
  • Communicate status updates to stakeholders with quantitative measurements.
  • Ensure objectives, deliverables and results are completed within scope, timeline, budget and resources.
  • Provide accurate analysis and reporting; present data for reviews.
  • Identify risks and create mitigation plans for timely completion.
  • Translate long-term objectives into actionable strategy and roadmap with technical teams.
  • Guide execution using agile, waterfall or other lifecycle methodologies.
  • Build and maintain reporting from Jira/ALM/X-Ray to track velocity, throughput, capacity and risk.
  • Track team health and delivery metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Produce and deliver management-level status updates, including risks and escalations.
  • Identify and remove blockers impacting delivery.
  • Balance workload for sustainable capacity planning.
  • Ensure requirements meet stakeholder needs and coordinate testing, QA, and UAT across SDLC.

Job description

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager who will manage agile ceremonies and cadences (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, stand-ups) using a technical tooling team supporting multiple global stakeholder groups. Standing up new agile/iteration cadences as team structure, scope, or stakeholder needs evolve.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans, define the project/program scope, goals and deliverables for areas of technology application development and implementation for the enterprise
  • Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with IT teams, technology vendors, etc.
  • Facilitate development effort by creating and monitoring an efficient, streamlined process between the internal teams and external technology providers
  • Effectively communicate status updates to all stakeholders across multiple organizations/ teams, with reinforcing quantitative measurements
  • Ensure project and program objectives, deliverables and results are completed within the agreed scope, timeline, budget and allocated resources
  • Provide accurate and insightful analysis and reporting, presenting the data in a clear format for presentations and reviews
  • Identify risks and create risk mitigation plans to ensure timely completion of the projects/programs
  • Manage technology product goals and forecasts. Collaborate with technical development team(s) to translate the long-term objectives into actionable technology strategy and an implementation roadmap
  • Guide execution by applying standard frameworks and development lifecycle methodologies like agile, waterfall etc.
  • Building and maintaining reporting out of Jira and other tools (e.g., ALM, X-Ray]) to track velocity, throughput, capacity, and delivery risk.
  • Defining and tracking team health and delivery metrics (velocity, cycle time, sprint predictability, defect escape rate) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Producing and delivering management-level status updates, including risks, scope changes, and escalations
  • Identifying and driving removal of obstacles/blockers impacting the team's ability to deliver.
  • Balancing and t-shirt sizing workload across technical staff to ensure sustainable, realistic capacity planning.
  • Ensuring requirements are well written to meet the needs of the stakeholders.
  • Coordinating testing, QA, and UAT activities across the SDLC in partnership with engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Partnering closely with GRC platform, data analytics, and various cyber, compliance, risk, and business teams to solve problems and deliver enterprise value.
  • Ensuring quality of project deliverables and managing scope across a large, complex, multi-stakeholder iteration.
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships to ensure requirements are understood and issues resolved efficiently.
  • Supporting vendor coordination and integration efforts where applicable.

Experience Required

  • 6+ years of experience in IT Industry
  • 3+ years of experience in Program Management
  • Experience with Cyber Security, Application Testing, Jira
