9th Way Insignia is seeking a Cybersecurity Tools Engineer to support the VA COSE program. This role will engineer, integrate, and sustain cybersecurity tools to support detection, prevention, vulnerability management, configuration management, and compliance.

You will develop tool implementation plans, configuration standards, operating procedures, and technical documentation, and coordinate with security operations, asset management, ticketing, reporting, and continuous-monitoring processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity tool engineering or related.
• Experience integrating tools and documenting configurations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, integrate, and sustain cybersecurity tools for detection, prevention, vulnerability management, configuration management, and compliance.
• Develop tool implementation plans, configuration standards, operating procedures, and technical documentation.
• Integrate tool data with security operations, asset-management, ticketing, reporting, and continuous-monitoring processes.
• Analyze tool performance, coverage gaps, alerts, and data quality; recommend improvements.
• Support upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and handoff of security-tool capabilities.
