Job summary

Altron Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking a Cybersecurity Test & Evaluation Specialist to join a team developing IA/Cybersecurity systems for the US Submarine Force.

The role covers test planning, procedures, and verification, with on-site work and occasional travel. Responsibilities include validating requirements through testing, assembling and configuring lab equipment, and reporting progress to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or 3 years with a Master’s degree.
• Clearance: active DoD Secret is required.
• Experience with submarine combat systems preferred.
• Ability to assemble and test computer equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify and execute test plans and reports.
• Conduct verification and validation for changes.
• Configure lab per drawings and port maps.
• Lead informal and formal tests for planned requirements.
• Work with DoD labs and shipboard test events.
