Job summary

Northrop Grumman invites motivated students to join the Aeronautics Systems Sector Intern Program in Melbourne, FL. This on-site internship offers hands-on experience in Cybersecurity Systems Security Engineering, with real contributions to assessments, process development, and data analytics.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program, graduate after August 2027, and be eligible for a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2027
• Majoring in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other related STEM field
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during Summer 2027
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Responsibilities

• Participating in cybersecurity execution capability assessments
• Assisting in drafting cybersecurity process and training material for use by the sector and the WSC team
• Participating in peer reviews for sector and internal process
• Participating in communication activities including document development, stakeholder meetings, and briefings
• Supporting data analytics by gathering metrics and working with visualizations
