Job summary

Digital Guru is seeking a Cybersecurity Support Technician to monitor our networks for security issues, install and maintain security software, and document any breaches. The ideal candidate stays current on cybersecurity threats and has a solid understanding of computer networks and systems.

You will investigate incidents, test protections, apply patches, train staff on security procedures, and prepare reports of audit findings and remediation plans.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Support Technician or in a similar role.
Experience with network penetration testing techniques.
Working knowledge of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities — and explain how to prevent them.
Experience with multi-factor authentication tools (e.g., Duo).
Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
Experience with SentinelOne.
Understanding of patch management, with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner.
Cyber incident response experience.
Professional certification in cybersecurity (such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP) is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Digital Guru is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity employment; final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and location, with an anticipated range of $60,000-$75,000 annually.
