Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Support Technician or similar role.
  • Experience with network penetration testing techniques.
  • Knowledge of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain prevention.
  • Experience with MFA tools (e.g., Duo).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience with SentinelOne.
  • Understanding of patch management and timely deployment.
  • Cyber incident response experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Job description

In this role, you'll monitor our client's networks for security issues, install and maintain security software, and document any issues or breaches you uncover along the way. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in today's cybersecurity threats and prevention methods and brings a strong understanding of computer networks and systems.

This is a vital role on our team: your work will play a direct part in preventing cyberattacks and keeping our data — and the families and associates who depend on it — safe and secure.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Support Technician or in a similar role
  • Experience with network penetration testing techniques
  • Working knowledge of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts
  • Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities — and explain how to prevent them
  • Experience with multi-factor authentication tools (e.g., Duo)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience with SentinelOne
  • Understanding of patch management, with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner
  • Cyber incident response experienceProfessional certification in cybersecurity (such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP) is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
