Job summary

Digital Guru is seeking a Cybersecurity Support Technician to monitor networks for security issues, install security software, and document breaches. This role helps prevent cyberattacks and keeps client data safe and secure, with a focus on protecting families and associates who depend on it.

You will investigate incidents, manage patching, and work with MFA tools like Duo, SentinelOne, and Microsoft 365 to strengthen defenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Professional cybersecurity certification such as Security+ or CISSP is a plus.
• Experience with network security monitoring and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Monitor networks for security issues and breaches.
• Investigate and document cybersecurity incidents.
• Install security measures and manage protective software.
• Test and update firewalls, firmware, and security software.
• Develop security standards and best practices for the organization.
• Train associates on security procedures and best practices.
• Respond to security breaches and perform diagnostics.
• Prepare reports documenting audit findings and remediation strategies.
• Recommend security improvements affecting IT policies.
