Cybersecurity Operations Analyst is a hands-on role based in a hybrid environment in Houston, TX or Tampa, FL. You will monitor security tools, triage incidents, and support cloud, network, and endpoint security across Google Workspace, AWS, and O365.

You will collaborate with MSSP/SIEM partners, manage configurations, and maintain documentation while advancing data protection and access management.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical work experience.
• 5-7 years total experience in an Information Security support role, including 4+ years hands-on cybersecurity operations.
• Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, GSEC, CISSP are preferred.

• Provide day-to-day cybersecurity support to the organization.

Cybersecurity Operations Analyst role focused on day-to-day security operations, monitoring, and support across endpoint, network, cloud, and identity environments. This hybrid position based in Houston, TX or Tampa, FL supports incident triage, remediation activities, and ongoing security tooling management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day cybersecurity support to the organization.
• Monitor, manage, and support security tools and technologies from a security perspective.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge and experience with Delinea, Proofpoint, Threat Locker, Netskope, Sentinel One, CISCO Meraki, and Fortinet.
• Experience with Active Directory & GPO, Fortinet firewall, Okta, Google Cloud Identity, Microsoft Entra ID, and Mobile Device Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent practical work experience).
• 5-7 years total experience in an Information Security support role, including 4+ years of hands-on cybersecurity operations experience.
• CompTIA Security+ (preferred), CEH (preferred), GSEC (preferred), CISSP (preferred), or equivalent security certifications.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with clear technical communication and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
