Job summary

Netsafe Solutions in Charlotte, NC seeks a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Support Specialist to monitor security activity, support incident investigations, and help protect systems and data. This onsite role works with IT and security teams to review alerts, maintain security documentation, and improve overall security posture.

You will monitor alerts, assist investigations, support endpoint protection, manage user access, review logs, and participate in vulnerability and patch processes.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to handle technical information responsibly and follow security procedures.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with operating systems, endpoint security, and access control concepts.
• Basic knowledge of security alerts, system logs, and incident reporting.
• Experience in IT support, technical support, information security, or a related role is preferred.

Compensation

Salary Range: USD 60,000 - 85,000 per year
