Job summary

NYS Office of Information Technology Services, Cyber Command Center, seeks a Customer Relationship Manager to coordinate onboarding and ongoing subscriber relationships for NYS Security Operations Center (NYSOC). You will ensure smooth transitions, address subscriber needs, and handle concerns swiftly across Latham, Rochester, or NYC locations.

Qualifications

• Six years of information technology, cyber security, or information assurance experience.
• Bachelor’s or higher-level degree in any field with CS credits substitutions described.
• State service experience as Information Technology Specialist 3 or higher may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding of NYSOC subscribers and ensure smooth transition.
• Provide robust subscriber relationship management as main contact for requests or concerns.
• Advocate for subscribers by coordinating with NYSOC and ITS teams to develop solutions.
• Develop understanding of NYSOC services and benefits for current and prospective subscribers.
• Track new requests or issues to completion.
• Communicate with subscribers to gauge satisfaction and identify improvements.
• Create onboarding documents, procedures, and NYSOC promotional materials.
• Participate in development and maintenance of SOPs and performance standards.
