Job summary

NYS Office of Information Technology Services is seeking a Customer Relationship Manager for NYSOC subscribers. You will coordinate onboarding, act as the main contact for subscriber needs, and collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions.

The role requires strong organizational and customer service skills with an understanding of cybersecurity offerings. Position may require off-shift availability to support incident response, with locations in Latham, Rochester, or New York City.

Qualifications

• Six years of information technology, cyber security, or information assurance experience.
• One year of state service as an Information Technology Specialist 3 (Information Security).
• Bachelor's or higher degree with CS credits substitutes for three years of required experience; bachelor's substitutes for two years; associate degree with CS credits may substitute for one year; master’s degree substitutes for one year.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding of NYSOC subscribers and ensure smooth transition to the service.
• Serve as main contact for subscriber requests or concerns.
• Collaborate with NYSOC and ITS teams to advocate for subscribers' needs.
• Develop understanding of NYSOC services and benefits for current and prospective subscribers.
• Track new requests or issues through to completion.
• Gauge subscriber satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
• Create onboarding documents, procedures, and NYSOC promotional materials.
• Participate in development and maintenance of NYSOC SOPs and performance standards.
