Job summary

The Information Technology Services, Office of is seeking an Information Technology Specialist 4 to serve as a Customer Relationship Manager within New York State's Security Operations Center. You will coordinate onboarding and manage relationships with cybersecurity subscribers from local and state government entities, ensuring smooth transitions and effective collaboration with NYSOC teams.

Qualifications

• Six years of IT, cybersecurity, or information assurance experience or state service as IT Specialist 3 (Info Security).
• Bachelor's degree with CS coursework may substitute for three years of experience.
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills with cybersecurity understanding.
• Ability to work independently and align with agency direction.
• Availability during off-shift hours for security incidents or critical activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and relationship management for cybersecurity subscribers.
• Ensure smooth transitions for new subscribers.
• Facilitate collaboration between NYSOC teams and subscriber organizations.
