Job summary

Information Technology Services, Office of seeks an IT Specialist 4 to serve as a Customer Relationship Manager for NYSOC. The role coordinates onboarding of new subscribers, manages subscriber relationships, and responds to cybersecurity incidents as needed across NYSOC locations in Latham, Rochester, or New York City.

The incumbent must have strong organizational and customer service skills, solid cybersecurity knowledge, and the ability to work independently under the direction of agency

Qualifications

• Six years of information technology, cyber security, or information assurance experience, or one year of state service as an Information Technology Specialist 3 (Information Security).
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity and NYSOC service offerings.
• Ability to act with independence in alignment with agency and upper-level management strategic direction.
• Willingness to be available during off-shift hours for security incidents or critical activities.
