A leading company is looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to support the USCG with cybersecurity compliance and system security planning. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in IT or related fields, relevant certifications, and experience with federal security practices. The role involves ensuring adherence to cybersecurity policies and supporting the development of security plans for the VIDA DMS. Remote work is possible, with occasional meetings in the DC Metro Area.
TACG is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team supporting the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in designing, deploying, and maintaining the Vessel Incidental Discharge Act (VIDA) Data Management system (DMS) to implement, monitor, and enforce regulations for vessel incidental discharges. This will be a cloud-based, Low-Code Application Platform (LCAP) solution using Appian.
Work Location:
There will be occasional USCG meetings in the DC Metro Area or West Virginia. The Security Specialist may work remotely, but if there is interest in attending USCG meetings, then the Security Specialist should reside within one hour travel time from the DC Metro Area.
