Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Technology Risk & Control Director – Cybersecurity to lead risk insight, advisory support, and challenge across cybersecurity and information protection domains.

The role partners with Cybersecurity and Technology leaders to set standards, controls, and KRIs, translating technical risk into business impact for executive audiences. You will oversee risk across IAM, PAM, cloud security, data protection, and related areas, influencing governance and risk

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; 10+ years in a related technology risk/cybersecurity role.
Experience advising senior leaders on cybersecurity and technology risks without owning operations or controls.
Strong ability to translate cybersecurity conditions into business risk, impact, and executive insights.

Responsibilities

Serve as a senior Technology Risk partner to Cybersecurity and Technology leadership.
Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to establish standards, procedures, and risk metrics.
Assess risk across IAM, PAM, data protection, cloud security, and related domains.
Advise on risk considerations for cloud adoption and cloud-native technologies.
Translate risk findings into executive risk exposure, trends, and remediation priorities.
Prepare executive risk assessments and Board reporting materials.
