Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Technology Risk & Control Director – Resiliency, Third Party, and Infrastructure to lead frontline risk and control initiatives.

You will strengthen risk ownership, drive control execution, and enhance operational resilience across technology, cybersecurity, and resiliency domains. The role collaborates with technology, operations, compliance, audit, and executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and frontline risk management experience in technology
• Experience engaging with regulators, audit, and senior management
• Ability to translate complex risk concepts into executive-ready messaging
• Certified risk professional is a plus (CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP)

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior front-line risk and control leader for technology resiliency, third-party risk, and infrastructure risk domains.
• Lead leaders and build a high-performing team accountable for risk identification, control design, execution, and remediation.
• Partner with technology, resiliency, operations, independent risk, compliance, and audit stakeholders to drive risk-based outcomes.
• Apply three-lines model to clarify ownership and ensure engagement with second- and third-line partners.
• Oversee risk and control activities related to infrastructure resilience, DR, BCP, and third-party tech resilience.
• Prepare executive-ready materials, regulatory responses, and Board reporting with clear messaging and escalation.
• Provide seasoned leadership in senior forums and communicate risk themes credibly.
• Foster a strong risk culture through disciplined execution and proactive issue management.
