Job summary

Miller Kaplan is seeking a Manager for our Cybersecurity practice within the Risk Advisory team. You will lead multiple engagements including risk assessments, CISO consulting, and annual assessments, while supervising the Risk Advisory staff and contributing to business development.

The role blends technical leadership with project management, client service, and cross-functional collaboration across finance and IT stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
5+ years in security leadership, preferably in professional services or large enterprise.
CISSP or equivalent required.
Knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001/27002, SOC-2, GDPR and US privacy law.

Responsibilities

Act as main engagement contact from start to finish including planning, budgeting, resource scheduling, fieldwork, reporting, and delivery oversight.
Lead cybersecurity assessments, threat/risk assessments, and system configuration reviews.
Develop and implement client cybersecurity programs and strategies.
Interact with client management to gather information, propose improvements, and remediate vulnerabilities.
Facilitate management meetings and coordinate across IT teams to ensure remediation.
