Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking an IT Audit, Cybersecurity & Risk Senior Consultant to join our risk advisory team. You will work with client executives to identify and manage technology risks, while delivering practical controls and assurance across engagements.

You will develop deep knowledge of client businesses, perform ITGC and cybersecurity reviews, and contribute to executive summaries and reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT audit or cybersecurity experience.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM or SSCP preferred.
• Experience as a client-serving professional for a consulting firm desired.
• Excellent analytical, technical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, collaboration, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with client executives to understand business and manage financial and operational risks within client systems.
• Develop knowledge of clients’ businesses by direct client interaction across engagements.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements based on client operations and objectives.
• Assist in implementing new processes and controls addressing key risks.
• Assess and manage IT risk across cybersecurity, governance, compliance, and BCM.
• Review processes and controls against industry frameworks; communicate gaps and recommendations.
• Assist in drafting executive summaries and final reports for delivery to the client.
• Build relationships with clients and deliver superior client service.
• Present findings to internal and external audiences.
• Develop knowledge of diverse technology environments, platforms, applications and tools.
• Pursue ongoing education and cross-training opportunities.
• Network and build relationships with clients.
