Job summary

The Aspen Institute invites a Senior Associate to join the Cybersecurity Programs team in Washington, DC. You will help shape multi-stakeholder convenings, coordinate events, and advance cybersecurity policy initiatives domestically and globally.

In this hybrid role, you will support briefing materials, manage speaker logistics, and strengthen relationships with partners across government, industry, and civil society.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant program coordination or operations experience.
• Experience in nonprofit, policy, or mission-driven environments.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare briefing and meeting materials for Cybersecurity Group and Summit.
• Coordinate meetings, support event planning, and maintain group relationships.
• Assist with planning, administration, and logistics of virtual and in-person events.
• Create forms and tracking attendance and sponsorship agreements.
• Lead speaker management for the Aspen Cyber Summit.
• Track program updates and milestones across cybersecurity portfolios.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to manage timelines and improve processes.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive materials.
• Triage requests and ensure timely follow-up.
