Job summary

NC State University’s Friday Institute seeks a Cybersecurity Program Operations Analyst to support the K-12 Cybersecurity Program with communications, reporting, outreach, knowledge management, and analytics. This time-limited contract role focuses on dashboard development, data utilization, and project coordination to keep the program organized and effective.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Engineering, or B.S. in Computer Science, or CISSP, or 6 years of relevant cybersecurity engineering.
• Familiarity with general K-12 IT practices and cybersecurity.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, NIST 800 framework, and CIS controls.

Responsibilities

• Assist with program communications and reporting, outreach, and knowledge management.
• Support data utilization, metrics, and dashboard development for the K-12 Cybersecurity Program.
• Coordinate projects and other routine activities to keep the program organized and efficient.
• Outreach to PSUs to help support better cyber hygiene.
